The Office of Online Learning is offering the following workshops this fall. Except where noted, all workshops are led by Jose Diaz, Online Learning Manager. Screencast-O-Matic New Features

In this workshop, we will go over the new features in Screencast-O-Matic such as the quiz feature, and ScreenPal. You will learn how to download the ScreenPal extension to your favorite browser. We will then discuss how you can use ScreenPal to communicate with colleagues, and students, and avoid annoying long email exchanges. 

Creating Graphics with Adobe Express

In this workshop, you will learn a quick and easy way to create graphics for your course using Adobe Express templates. We will create a course banner and a flyer that you can use to communicate with your students in the announcements tool.

How to Automate your Office Hours with Calendly with Patricia Iacobazzo

Learn to automate your Office Hours by having students book appointments directly from your Calendly page. Reduce the back and forth of email communication. 你的学生 will be able to see and book available slots directly from their computer or mobile 设备. 

Edpuzzle with Jennifer Shloming

Professor Jennifer Shloming will give us a presentation on how she uses Edpuzzle in her class to create videos that promote active learning. Edpuzzle is a tool that allows you to add interactive quizzes to your videos. It is a great way to keep students engaged while watching lectures or demonstration videos.
